OpenLMIS code is licensed under an Open Source license to enable everyone using OpenLMIS and contributing to the community to benefit collectively. As such the license we use is one which complies with the Open Source Definition, and as such all contributions have to be licensed using the OpenLMIS license in order to be accepted. The process for licensing code is simple and is outlined in the Contribution Guidelines. For more information on the open source license in use, please refer to the LICENSE file in each component of OpenLMIS and as always you may refer to the Open Source Initiative for more information on the particular Open Source license that we use.
Our choice of open source license is informed by our community principles and is intended for the shared benefit of everyone in the community.
