OpenLMIS 3.19 is now live! Packed with updates, improvements, and smarter tools, this version reflects the dedication and collaboration of a global community working to improve public health supply chains. With 19 releases since the launch of OpenLMIS 3, the platform continues to grow in ways that make it not just more functional, but also more impactful.
This release brings a blend of efficiency, flexibility, and accuracy to the forefront. It provides more support in managing users, tracking population data, analyzing performance, monitoring stock, and more.
What’s new in OpenLMIS 3.19?
4 new features have been added. To help you quickly get familiar with them, we’ve prepared a demo showcasing the 3.19 features:
Streamlined user management with bulk import/export
A new user import/export feature allows implementations to manage user data in bulk. This means easier onboarding, faster updates, and fewer manual errors. Especially for large organizations, this significantly cuts down the administrative overhead, freeing up valuable time for more strategic work.
Simplified population management
The addition of catchment population management makes it easier to work with demographic data. Now, easy importing and exporting population data is available, enabling better planning and alignment with real-world needs. With accurate population data, health systems can better forecast demand and serve communities effectively.
Enhanced reporting capabilities
With the new dashboard reports functionality, users now have the ability to manage SUPERSET or PowerBI reports directly through the interface. This enhancement empowers users to analyze and visualize data more efficiently, making it easier to extract meaningful insights from health supply chain data. The flexibility to manage reports within the platform eliminates the need for external tools, saving time and streamlining workflows.
Better stock management insights
Real-time visibility into stock levels is now a reality thanks to the new stock status report. Users can check stock at specific points in time, over custom time ranges, and across multiple facilities. It’s a powerful upgrade for those who need reliable data to guide inventory decisions during routine restocking or emergency response.
Additionally, the ability to view stock status over a specified time range for a particular facility or product provides a more granular understanding of stock movements, helping teams identify potential issues before they become critical.
