OpenLMIS Demo Videos
We have developed a series of eight videos (4-7 minutes each) that go over different OpenLMIS processes and capabilities. Watch them streaming on our YouTube channel or download the videos in full in the OpenLMIS document repository. The subjects of each video range from overviews of the system to configuring requisitions to shipping and replenishment processes.
OpenLMIS Configuration Guide
The Configuration Guide provides an explanation of many concepts and objects that are intrinsic to OpenLMIS’s setup and operation, as well as step-by-step instructions for how to configure the complete system. Find the configuration guide in our document repository here.
Included in this file set are first-order and second-order entity relationship diagrams, table definitions, and a complete data dictionary. This database schema is designed to handle any number of programs, (ART, Malaria, Reproductive Health, etc.) plus a wide variety of medical commodities, (essential medications, vaccines, lab supplies, consumable supplies, equipment, etc.). It also allows segmenting commodities by program(s) as well as by facility types. The schema handles geographic hierarchies and warehousing hierarchies of any depth, plus replenishment schedules with monthly, quarterly, and uneven periods. Reporting hierarchies / approval work-flow can be defined independent of geographic locations. Supplying warehouses and delivery points allow level-skipping, and can be defined independent of geographic zones. Find the v1.0 data model in our document repository here.
